Kiner-Falefa boasted a .264 batting average with one home run and 35 RBIs across 119 games during his tenure with the Pirates this season. The seasoned eight-year player, who has previously played for Texas and the New York Yankees, inked a lucrative two-year, $15 million US deal with Toronto before the start of the 2024 season. He had previously appeared in 83 games for the Blue Jays before being traded to Pittsburgh at last year’s trade deadline.
