Mellow Food is voluntarily recalling specific batches of Delici Dubai Style chocolate mousse because they may contain cashew and macadamia nuts that are not listed on the packaging. The affected products were distributed between January and February.
The retailer emphasized that these allergens could trigger severe allergic reactions in individuals with sensitivities or allergies to cashew or macadamia nuts. The product in question, which serves six, can be identified by the Universal Product Code 812190020825. The affected lot codes and best before dates are as follows: BB/MA 27 FEB 26, BB/MA 02 MAR 26, BB/MA 04 MAR 26, BB/MA 05 MAR 26, BB/MA 06 MAR 26, BB/MA 09 MAR 26, BB/MA 11 MAR 26, BB/MA 13 MAR 26, BB/MA 18 MAR 26, BB/MA 25 MAR 26, and BB/MA 27 MAR 26.
Consumers are advised to return the recalled product to Costco stores for a full refund. Both companies expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the recall.
