The meeting’s agenda will cover topics such as online disinformation, political polarization, and violence against lawmakers. In response to concerns over U.S. President Donald Trump’s strategy to resolve Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, Canada has extended an invitation to the chair of Ukraine’s parliament. Additionally, Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand is expected to host her counterparts, including U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in Ontario later this fall.
