“Recall Alert: Zwilling Electric Kettles Pose Burn Hazard”

Health Canada has issued a recall for several Zwilling electric kettles over concerns of potential burn hazards.

The recall specifically pertains to the Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5 L capacity.

Approximately 43,963 units of these kettles were distributed in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

The safety concern revolves around a possible issue with the kettle’s handle that could lead to it becoming loose or breaking off while in use.

Health Canada has highlighted that in certain instances, this defect could result in hot water spilling from the kettle, posing a scalding risk to users and those nearby, including children.

As per the official statement, there have been 21 reported incidents and one potential injury associated with these kettles in Canada as of May 13, 2026.

Consumers are advised to discontinue using the affected kettles immediately and can request a refund by visiting the dedicated recall website.

For additional details, individuals can reach out to Zwilling directly, and Health Canada encourages individuals encountering safety concerns with the product to report any incidents for further investigation.
