The 52-year-old Eden was discovered deceased in an Athens hotel, with Greek authorities indicating initial signs pointed towards a self-inflicted incident, ruling out any foul play. She was in Greece to work on the fourth season of the popular series.
Described as a prominent figure in Israel’s television landscape, Dana Eden played a significant role in shaping and driving the success of numerous noteworthy productions within the industry, as highlighted in a statement by KAN. The cause of her death was not disclosed by the broadcaster, which also expressed deep condolences to Eden’s family, friends, and colleagues for their loss.
Addressing circulating rumors, Eden’s production company, Donna and Shula Productions, took to Facebook to clarify that speculations regarding criminal motives surrounding her passing were baseless and inaccurate. The company urged for respect towards Eden’s memory, calling for privacy and dignity for her loved ones during this challenging time.
